 به گزارش کسب نیوز به نقل از راشاتودی، جف بزوس که یکی از پول‌دارترین افراد جهان است قرار است از پس‌فردا رسماً از ریاست شرکت آمازون کنار برود.

وی که بنیان‌گذار این شرکت بزرگ خرده فروشی اینترنتی است، همین چند هفته پیش از سوی مؤسسه فوراور به عنوان پول‌دارترین فرد جهان مطرح شد.

البته هدف بزوس از کنار گذاشتن مدیریت آمازون خالی کردن وقت بیشتر برای رسیدن به شرکت بلو اوریجین است که در زمینه فراهم کردن مسافرت‌های فضایی فعالیت می‌کند.

شرکت آمازون نخستین بار در اوایل دهه ۱۹۹۰ میلادی توسط بزوس و در شکل اولیه یک کتابفروشی آنلاین تأسیس شد اما حالا یکی از گران‌قیمت‌ترین شرکت‌های جهان است و ۱.۷ تریلیون دلار ارزش دارد.

۱۰.۳ درصد سهام آمازون در اختیار بزوس است و البته وی قصد ندارد  جایگاه خود در هیأت مدیره آمازون را ترک کند. چند روز دیگر جف بزوس با فضاپیمای نیوشفرد به همراه ۵ نفر دیگر راهی فضا است. این سفر هوایی در روز ۲۰ جولای و در سالگرد نشستن فضاپیمای آپولو ۱۱ در سطح ماه در سال ۱۹۶۹ انجام خواهد شد.
